John Hancock 2

   
     

      He was born in 1737. He was orphaned and lived with his uncle. He entered politics in 1765. He became a rich businessman. In 1780 he was elected the first governor of Massachusetts.

      He was a smuggler. His boat had been burned because he was one of The Sons of Liberty, he also was a merchant. John Hancock was leader of American Revolution. He was very involved in revolutionary politics. He was elected to his first office. He died on October 3, 1781.

 
         
         
 

Sybil Ludington

   
         
     Sybil Ludington was born in 1761. Sybil Ludington just turned 16 years old and she was going to bring a message for her father. Sybil Ludington is the oldest of 12 sisters and brothers. She died 1839. Sybil Ludington died near her father cemetery in New York.

     Her father old cemetery burnt down. Sybil had married a guy name Edward Odgen. Sybil Ludington had a stamp honor on 1975. Sybil Ludington was a heroine in the American Revolutionary War. Sybil fought the British soldier at Danbury Connecticut. Sybil was a heroine because when she got hurt she still trying her best. Sybil did it for her father cause he could not do it.

        Sybil Ludington was born in 1761. She grew up in Ludington Mills in the colony of New York. She was the oldest of twelve kids. Rebecca’s father was a commander in the colonial army. By sixteen Sybil decided she wanted to be a soldier. She wanted to do more than carry food for the British spies. On April 26,1777 a rider brought a message for Sybil’s father. The messenger said Danbury was burning near Sybil’s home. Commander Ludington sent Sybil on her horse to tell his men to return to fight.

 
         
         
 

Paul Revere

   
         
     This is all about Paul Revere life. Paul Revere was born in Boston Massachusetts in 1735. He died in 1818. His job was to ring bells at church. Paul Revere married Rachel Walker and had 8 kids. 2 of them had died because of starvation.

     Dr. Joseph sent Paul Revere to Lexington to warn the Colonists. He went through Boston screaming The British are coming! The British are coming! So he did it so he could warn Minuteman that the British were coming so they could fight at Lexington and Concord. Paul Revere was at the First Continental Congress. Paul Revere fought in the war and the Americans won the war. After all the battles were over and the Declaration Of Independence was singed Paul Revere opened the Rolling Mill. He worked on the US Constitution. He retired and told his grand children all about his life. The best battles were the Battle of Bunker Hill, Lexington, and Valley Forge.

 
         
         
 

Molly Pitcher

   
         
     Molly Pitcher was born near Philadelphia. Her real name was Mary Ludwig. They called her Molly Pitcher because she will always went to the pond with her pitcher and got water. Her husband was a gunner and was in the war.

    After a while in the war Molly’s husband got shot in the war but he was ok. When Molly saw that her husband was shot in the leg she took her husbands gun for the rest of the war. When she was done in the war she got 40 dollars for being in the war then she began a family. Her husband died years later. So she married George McCauly. A while later she got half rations in the continental army in return for cooking, washing, sewing, and doing other work. She had a lot of money from the war and her family was very proud.
