| WaterFire is the most beautiful event in the whole city of Providence. People come from all over the state just to experience this exciting event. This takes place at Water Place Park where three rivers come together. | ||
| WaterFire was created by Barnaby Evans who went to Brown University. My dad knew him well. WaterFire is considered a work of art. | ||
| The First Fire was in 1994. The Second Fire was in 1996. They permanent installation of fireplaces in the rivers started in 1997 with 42 fireplaces, expanding to 81 fireplaces in 1997, and then 97v fireplaces in 1997. | ||
| What does WaterFire do for Providence? (Question to my mom and dad.) It brings all different kinds of people, rich, poor, young and old together. This helps create a strong sense of pride for the community. People are friendlier at WaterFire than they are at any other time or place in the city. | ||
